Greek Festival

Several weeks ago, the Greek Orthodox Church held their yearly Greek Festival. We thought we would check it out. Though we don't in any way support their doctrine, we are great fans of their food. I also have to say, they are a group of very nice people.

They had the children dress traditionally and dance to show what they learn (in part) at the school. I have videos which I will post another time. All the kids were so cute.

I wanted to adopt this little girl.
The food line. Flavor. Big flavor. I want to visit Greece someday. England first, though.

They had a display regarding some of their history.

Check out the facial hair. Whoa. Let's be glad some things stay in the past.

Is this person scowling at me?

The two-headed, four-legged man?

Future voter.

Well...

Whoa...

Bath time. She looks very...full of sugar.

So does he.

Bambi

Our deer family that lives in the woods next to us and feasts daily in my Dad's hay field, has a new addition! Bambi was born about a month ago and boy, is he cute!

Go Green

Notice the shirt on Victoria? That is a 0-3 month dress that she wore when she was scraggly, tiny and screaming. We thought it would make a cute shirt, so we saved it. It fits great! We are pretty proud of our recycling abilitites! :0

Colin drew these one day, so I thought I would share them. The walrus is so cute!
My favorite, the walrus!

Birthday Party!

This picture is not crooked in my computer. I don't know why it is here. Just turn your head and smile at the cutey!

Queen of the party!

Whoopie Pies! Her first chocolate.

Meatball subs and coleslaw. I kept it simple since it was a busy weekend. They were homemade meatballs and sauce, with lots of yummy garlic!

Some people you just can't cook for...

One side of the table.

The other side of the table.

"Mom, why have you been holding back chocolate from me all these months?"

"Because you are bad enough without sugar, my dear."

She quickly learned how to rip the paper. It took Colin a few years to learn how to open presents, but Colin has never destroyed a book. I can see she will be restricted to board books for some time!

Uncle Mike. We were sorry Uncle John Maynard had to work. :(

My mom was dying to play the Wii. I can now see where I get my competitive side.

And then there is the analytical approach. If you calculate everything correctly you will get many stikes in a row in bowling.

Standing Up!

Victoria loves to stand and "talk" about the deep things in life. Listen for yourself.

Piano Practice

Victoria loves to interrupt my practice as well as Colin's. She is our excuse for the mistakes we make! :)

Cedar Point Trip, Part 2

Little Cheese

Jason and Colin on the pirate ship thing. They were able to sit in the back. When I took him on the ride, they made is sit in the front.
The Iron Dragon. That was my favorite one.

Victoria was able to ride in the ferris wheel. She really liked the wind in her face!

Colin loved all the roller coasters. With the parent swap (baby) pass, he got to ride them all twice!
Every time people screamed on the rides, Victoria yelled out, "Whooo whoooo".
I love snoopy. If we ever get a dog (which is unlikely), I'd name him Snoopy.
She was a little petrified of the big bed.

On the floor in search of fuzzies to eat.

Are you having deja-vous? I can't figure out how to delete this. Come on, computer nerds out there! Drop me a hint.
