Plums That Never Shall Be

We put Colin to work. He was in charge of putting the sticks in the container and toting them off to be disposed of in the woods.

Colin is blinded by the sun. I thought you might want to see this profound moment.

My plum tree, in spite of being viciously attacked by marauding deer last year, bloomed in beautiful health.

Then, the marauding (I like that word) deer returned and murdered that blossoming branch. Argh!

 Since Colin is the Chocolate Joker, Victoria wanted to get in on the superhero action. She is Batgirl. Since she was a wee lil' baby peanut, she has always loved to be upside down. Sometimes life makes more sense when you look at it upside down...

This is the finished cake, and man was it good. You see I am driven to using slang. It was big. It was gooey. It was utter delicious-ness. It was my Mom's birthday cake.
