Most people know this author for his famous, "The Book of Virtues" and "The Children's Book of Virtues".
This particular book focuses on the many angles of manhood. Not being a man myself (obviously), this helps me to articulate character traits for my son. If you can get a copy, I think it will inspire you during a modern era of faulty character.

I've only read a few chapters so far, but it is a little of both. It is good old-fashioned moral fiber. The author has taken a lot of slack from people for it being so old-fashioned.
