On our last full day in Florida, we went to the Animal Kingdom. We usually go to Epcot (which is the nerdiest, therefore our favorite), but we thought we would check out the animals this time.
As we drove into the parking lot, Victoria lost her breakfast. I think she ate too much. Her clothes and carseat were an absolute mess! The poor little thing had to get on the tram in her skivvies. Once we were inside, the Disney people laundered her clothes and carseat cover! We were so thankful! As we couldn't pick it up until later, we had to buy her some clothes.
Problem #1: We aren't rich. We just spent our inheritance on our tickets. The clothes in the gift shop were priced at obscene costs.
Problem #2: As Victoria only wears dresses and skirts, finding one of those would be a challenge as well.
Problem Solved: We managed to scrounge (under the quizzical eye of the cashier, who was probably wondering why we let our toddler wander around in a diaper) and we found a long dress with animal print Mickey Mouse ears. It had a sun-dress smocked top that had to be covered, so we found a matching tee shirt to go over it. Victoria managed to get a new $50 outfit as a souvenir!
Do you know why a raven is like a writing desk?
We loved Animal Kingdom! The safari was fun, as well as the roller coasters. We had beautiful weather for our whole vacation. Since Animal kingdom closes earlier, we hopped to Epcot for a couple attractions, some lovely British Fish and Chips, and fireworks. It was such a wonderful way to end our trip!
