Because we have a child who spontaneously lies down on the floor, sings Thomas songs, and covers herself with baby bathtub parts, we suggested my parents get Victoria a pool for her birthday.
There was logical reasoning behind this. Almost every time she takes a bath, she dives under the water and floats.
She received the suggested pool as a present.
They are all bringing it over from the Van Oel's barn.
It takes three to carry such a pool. Without Victoria helping, it would have taken hours.
I myself have found that merely touching the object being dutifully carried by others, and walking with purpose, will often lead others to think you are He-Man (or She-Ra, as it may apply). If you don't know who those people are, you are too young to be my friend.
Pictures will follow that highlight the first pool-time drama. Let's just say that it is a good thing we have a lot of space between the neighbors around here.
