Colin's 7th Birthday Party!

Colin turned seven years old on January 13th. I am still in shock. He had a fun party and is thankful for all the fun gifts from everyone.

Books, books, books!

Victoria was very particular about sitting in this chair. She thinks she is in school.

Finally, she gave up on the party and hit the books!

Homemade chocolate ice cream. Nothing like what is in the store.

Colin wanted chocolate cake with caramel frosting. Yum!

BBQ Biscuit Cups, Herbed Corn, and Cobb Salad Nachos were for the meal.

My children love to eat; there is no debate. The slightest crinkle that is heard from the vicinity of the kitchen is presumed to be a snack for them. They eat three solid and healthy meals a day, with a couple snacks between each meal.

What is their favorite snack?

Nutella.

Chocolate and hazelnut creamy goodness.

The Inheritance

I received part of my inheritance a few weeks ago.

I have always loved castles, stone, and such like, so my dad gave me these a little early.

A little weaponry is handy to have around in case the Peeper returns!

The Remainder of Christmas Day

Yes, yes, I know. It is February. I had a lot of Christmas pictures and here are the rest.

I hosted Christmas dinner for my family this year. It included beef tenderloin in an herb marinade, coconut and hazelnut sweet potatoes, spinach dip with homemade herb crackers, green bean bundles and homemade challah bread.
