I can't believe my boy is eight! It just doesn't seem possible. He finally is out of his booster seat. He is in third grade. He reads books with hundreds of pages. The list goes on. Tomorrow, he will be in college (or so it seems).He is like a little man, but his little high-pitched voice reminds me is still very young in the great scheme of things.

He is still a great big brother.

The Passing of Buddy

After a long time of illness, Buddy passed away. The kids are saying good-bye to him. Buddy belonged to my parents (Van Oel).

Happy Birthday to our sweet miracle baby! I can't believe he is eight! I suppose that means all of us are eight years older? Nah! Only Colin.

Our 11th anniversary was this past October 7th. It is hard to believe we are both old enough to be married so long, but so it is. Colin made us a card. I think it is cute!
