We went on an eleven-day roadtrip. We stayed the first night in Toronto to break up the driving. Our first destination was Old Montreal. We were pretty excited about this "mini-France". It was like a slice of Parisian flair without flying to France. The quaint streets were brick and narrow, with ivy growing on the walls. The streets were filled with entertainers and the buildings were old and full of history. The shops had delicious artisian foods and delectables. You could walk everywhere!
Old churches abounded.
Old buildings abounded.
Silly little boys abounded.
This store had the best sauces! Perfection in your mouth can be bought here!
Clowns hang out on the corner for entertainment.
We loved Montreal! We'll have to go back and stay a little longer.
Colin and Victoria enjoyed going to Neighborhood Bible Time. Mr. Nick did a great job! Colin memorized lots of verses, watched Pilgrim's Progress, and watched lots of creation videos. Every now and then, they still burst out singing the Bible Time song.
We had fun picking peaches! We ate some, froze some and made peach jam. They were so delicious, and it was great for the kids to see where their food comes from!
