Joseph

One day while we were in Missouri, we went to see "Joseph". It was performed by Sight and Sounds Theatre, and this theatre was built by them for their performances.
The lion and the lamb. The performance was wonderful and of high quality!
This is Victoria's idea of a pose.

More Creation Museum

Here are the rest of my pictures from our visit to the Creation Museum. Colin is trying to look nervous.
Victoria really was scared of the dinos. We had to help her overcome her fears by touching him.

Jason, Victoria and Colin rode the camel. It was the shortest camel ride ever, but they had fun.

 Victoria loved the animals.

 Me and the boy. :)
 Him and the girl. :)
Victoria is thinking lofty, princessy thoughts. Ruling a kingdom takes contemplation.
It also works up a large appetite. To speed her culinary adventures along, we loaded up forks with food.

Creation Museum 2012

Visiting the Creation Museum marked the beginning of our family vacation. The kids had fun having a big, squishy bed. As it turned out, Victoria kept giving in to her violent side and she had to sleep on the floor.
We ate at the restaurant next to our hotel and it was delicious!
They had a beautiful lobby with a foutain.

We love the Creation Museum. It was our second time there. We also went to the Planetarium and it was amazing! I love the stars. They remind me what a wonderful, powerful and creative Creator I have for a Father.

Science and the Bucket

For science class, Colin was required to take a checklist outside to see how many items on the list were in his backyard environment. He loved doing this task, and he was able to find most items on the list.
Victoria wanted to get in on the action. She had no idea what to look for, but she looked just the same.

My Dad happened to be out there, so took the kids on a bucket ride around the property.

Holey fences.

Rainbow Carrots

Thanks to the 100 degree temperatures, zero rain, and my garden-challenged self, I didn't get very many veggies. Ironically, I did do well with my carrots (which I ruined last year).
I guess these two were a little too close in the dirt.

Saline Fair 2012

Victoria was enthralled with the piggy-poos.
Colin...well, as you  can see he thought they needed a bath.
My Dad was nonchalant about it all.

Rides, rides, rides...

It is a little scary to think the train ride (shown above) was riding  on a track supported by these make-shift wooden blocks.
Milking the cow.
The armadillo was so cute.
