By the Lake

We took the scenic drive, and stopped by the lake. The kids had fun in the sand. The weather was so beautiful!

This was Victoria's first time near a large body of water.

I love the shadows in the picture below. Can you spot Victoria's pig tails?

Boyne Mountain

We enjoyed a free vacation up in Boyne Mountain near Petosky. It was beautiful in both weather and view with the fall colors.

We rode the ski lift to the top and enjoyed the great view. That was the first time I have been on a ski lift. I was so terrified at first, I couldn't bring myself to pull down the lap bar. The people who passed us on their way down kept chuckling. One man said, "You probably should pull the lap bar down." I replied, "If it can be done without me letting go and reaching up, I shall."

We stopped in a tiny toy store and bought some candy (notice Victoria's necklace).

Special Finds

Finding Colin a bath robe for his tall self has been quite a task. I finally decided to make one. I let Colin pick out the material.

I found this coat on clearance. Victoria loves it!
